April 20, 1986: 63 Points
Entering the 1986 NBA Playoffs, the Chicago Bulls were severely outmatched. Facing the eventual champion, the Boston Celtics, Michael Jordan made it his personal mission to lead to the Bulls to a victory. Hitting 40 points in a Game One loss, MJ was more than focused heading into Game Two as he would score an NBA playoff record 63 points.
In addition to an abundance of points, Jordan would grab five rebounds and dish out six assists in the contest as well. Although the Bulls would lose the series, Jordan left a lasting legacy that would shift the climate of NBA basketball for the foreseeable future.
