The 1992 NBA All-Star game is most remembered for the return of Los Angeles Lakers legend Magic Johnson, who retired prior to the 1991-92 NBA season after contracting HIV. Yet, many sneaker enthusiasts remember this moment because MJ debuted the “Bordeaux” Air Jordan 7. Magic stole the show as he took home MVP honors with a 25-point, nine-assist night; however, Jordan’s 18 points, five assists and two “Bordeauxs” resonated more with the sneaker community.
