The 1992 Olympic basketball team, also known as the “Dream Team”, is arguably the best team ever assembled in the history of basketball. Likewise, it is also memorable, today, for the wide array of classic, vintage basketball shoes worn by the players. During the six games, MJ did not score in the 40s, 50s, and/or 60s; he didn’t have to. The well-rounded team, which included, Charles Barkley, Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, and others, dominated international basketball and won by an average of 45 points each game. MJ led the USA with 22 points in the championship game while wearing the “Olympic” Air Jordan 7.
