Spring is upon us and Mizuno is taking the opportunity to switch things up this season. The iconic Runbird introduces a fresh silhouette with the all-new Mizuno Wave Rider Beta.
For the Mizuno Wave Rider Beta’s introduction, the sneaker arrives in colorways of “Bistro Green” and “Insignia Blue.” This vibrant duo aims to empower the people that wear them while also honoring Mizuno’s values of inner strength and integrity.
While this silhouette is new and improved, the sneaker is a tribute to Mizuno’s Wave Rider heritage as it combines tradition and craftsmanship with generational advances in technology.
The Beta keeps the Wave Rider’s essential touch points intact as it sits atop the sole unit of Mizuno’s best-selling running shoe, the Wave Rider 26. The individual uppers are reminiscent of previous Wave Riders, which first launched in 1997.
The “Bistro Green” colorway is accented with “Anise Flower,” while the “Insignia Blue” iteration is complemented by “Shifting Sand.” Each sneaker is finished with Mizuno branding on the heel counter, tongue, and side walls.
The Mizuno Wave Rider Beta drops on March 24, 2023. Each sneaker is priced at £150. To purchase, visit select retailers such as END., Footpatrol, Hanon, SNS, Cooshti, Parasol Store, Yards Store, Urban Industry, Kong, Hambledon and Peggs and Son.
