Monta Ellis may not wow you by wearing a highly-celebrated shoe, but his consistency when it comes to the kicks he wears on court is largely unrivaled. Ever since he discontinued his partnership with AND1 after the 2010-2011 NBA season, Ellis has routinely taken to the court in a mixture of beloved retros, newer silhouettes and iDs all from Jordan Brand in his stints with the Warriors, Buck and now Mavericks.

“The thing I like about Monta is he’s always consistent,” says Nick Young, the 2012 Kicks On Court Champion. “You can depend on him to wear some nice stuff every single game.”

Although slightly down in regard to the quantity of shoes he brought out this season, especially compared to last year, Monta wore 25+ pairs of  Jordans in his first years as a Dallas Mavericks. Ellis laced up seemingly every Jordan you can think of that incorporates the colors blue, white and grey, including the “Flint” Air Jordan 13, the “Wolf Grey” Air Jordan 5, the “Obsidian” Air Jordan 12 and the “Cool Grey” Air Jordan 11. He even brought out a few original Jordans, such as the “College Blue” Air Jordan XVII and the White/Royal Air Jordan XVIII, in addition to some forgotten gems, namely the “Neutral Grey” Air Jordan 13, the “UNC” Air Jordan XX3 and the “Magic” 7s via the Air Jordan 60+ Pack.

“You guys should really go check out his collection at his house,” says former NBA player Stephen Jackson. “What he brings to the court doesn’t tell half of what he has locked away. He’s been in it for a long while now.”

There’s not much to customize when it comes to Jordans on NIKEiD, but Monta made use of the customizable options for his favorite on-court shoe, the Jordan Spizike. His four colorways – white and royal, obsidian and royal, grey and navy, royal and white – weren’t anything spectacular but they coincided perfectly with the Mavericks’ color scheme.
