The Mowalola x New Balance 9060 “Purple Rain” was presented during Mowalola Ogunlesi’s, former YEEZY GAP design director, first solo collection dubbed “Burglarwear” for Spring/Summer 2023. Filled with BDSM-inspired looks, the Mowalola x New Balance 9060 “Purple Rain” matched perfectly with its leather, mesh, and synthetic construction dipped in stealthy black and accenting hits of “Purple Rain”. Further elevating the collaborative pair are the yellow midsole accents and profile “N” insignis made with an air-filled transparent TPU creating a 3D effect.
