Out-of-the-box extraordinaire collective MSCHF is back with another Super Normal sneaker. Releasing in a “5 O’Clock Shadow” colorway, this sneaker is a follow up to the silhouette’s debut which dropped in “Coke White” over Summer. Despite getting hit with a major lawsuit from Vans earlier this year, MSCHF has continued to fly through 2022 full speed ahead with other boundary-breaking releases like the MSCHF Gobstomper “Jimmy Fallon Edition” and the MSCHF AC1 Walking Boot.

Before jumping into the design of the MSCHF Super Normal “5 O’Clock Shadow,” it’s important to note that only 666 pairs of the sneaker were made and your best chance at securing a pair is by showing up to MSCHF’s first ever art show, NO MORE TEARS, I’M LOVIN’ IT. The Brooklyn-based art collective will be displaying a strip mall series at the Perrotin Gallery in New York City that playfully presents the absurdity of our culture.

The warped and wavy all-Black MSCHF Super Normal will be in attendance and available for purchase on a first-come, first-served basis. The sneaker is crafted with hairy Black suede, hence its “5 O’Clock Shadow” nickname. The fuzzy panels are accented with White stitching, White laces, and White MSCHF branding on the tongue. The heel counter is marked with a pair number identifier, which sits just above the MSCHF branding on the Black and White midsole. The sneaker comes packaged in a special collectors crate which is stamped with Perrotin branding.

The MSCHF Super Normal “5 O’Clock Shadow” releases on November 3rd exclusively at Perrotin Gallery NYC and the MSCHF Sneakers App. Perrotin Gallery NYC will be open from 12-8pm EST, while the sneaker drops on the app at 10am EST. The retail price is set at $185. For more sneaker news and release dates, follow @NiceKicks on Instagram.
