Often times collaborative offerings don’t extend to the lengths general releases do in terms of sizing availability. It’s unfortunate, and happens more than most care to mention. And typically, the ladies get slighted when this takes place. But thankfully ASICS has a solution-based release in the works; a collaboration exclusive to the ladies performed with a women’s only sneaker retailer.
Naked, a sneaker boutique that services the women of Copenhagen, aids ASICS in a new joint venture that utilizes the Gel Lyte V as a creative canvas. Dubbed the “Hafina” – which means Copenhagen in Latin tongue – playful tones like mint, coral, and rain camo fill space around a black midfoot. Each of the tones symbolize fixtures around the Denmark capital, while an array of lush materials punctuate the shoes softened sentiment.
The Naked x ASICS Gel Lyte V “Hafina” lands globally on August 15.
