Following the league’s block on JR Smith’s Supreme logo tattoo, the same set of shade has been thrown at Lonzo Ball and his Big Baller Brand tattoo.
First reported by TMZ Sports, Zo’s BBB logo tattoo was taped/bandaged up during his preseason debut against the Warriors.
League rules prohibit “displaying any commercial logos or corporate insignia on their body or in their hair.” It appears this is a very firm stance for the league itself and not just a strongarm — no pun intended — by their partner in Nike. The reason being for this as Supreme — a key Nike partner — was given the same treatment in regards to JR this season.
Expect a rise in athletic tape and shooting sleeves this season.
