From the adidas Campus to the adidas NMD R1, NEIGHBORHOOD and adidas have a partnership that goes back years upon years. The upcoming NEIGHBORHOOD x adidas Adimatic adds to their growing list of sneakers with two colorways of the silhouette.
The adidas Adimatic is a fan-favorite in Japan, so it makes sense for the Japanese streetwear brand to use this sneaker as its silhouette of choice. Shinsuke Takizawa, Founder of NEIGHBORHOOD, revealed both black and grey colorways of the adidas Adimatic. Each pair is crafted with suede and features jumbo adidas Three-Stripes. The midsole on each pair comes in variations of black and grey, with sharp lines for added detail. NEIGHBORHOOD branding gets stamped on the midsole and heel, while the tongue tas and insole are co-branded with the adidas mountain logo. Both sneakers are complete with chunky laces, giving the shoe a ’90s-skate aesthetic.
The NEIGHBORHOOD x adidas Adimatic is set to release November 5th, 2022. To purchase, visit neighborhood.jp, CONFIRMED as well as select retailers. The price is ¥19,800 JPY (or about $140). For more sneaker news and release dates, follow @NiceKicks on Twitter.
