One of Tokyo’s most notable lifestyle brands has teamed up with Converse to produce the new NEIGHBORHOOD x Converse First String Collection for Holiday 2013. NBHD has always prided itself on its refined Japanese take on street style, and now they are putting their hand on some of Converse First String’s most iconic silhouettes. The dapper duo consists of the Jack Purcell Johnny Mid and the All Star Chuck ’70 Ox, both in premium takes. This collaboration’s JP is set in deep petrol blue leather with a white midsole, maintaining its signature toe-smile. Its partner in crime loses its traditional stripe and sits in plush royal blue suede. Metal eyelets, tonal woven heel strips, and NEIGHBORHOOD branded lace tips all add detailing to this luxurious Converse collection.

This NBHD x Converse First String limited-edition pack will debut October 25th at HOODS in Hong Kong, Union in Los Angeles and El Garito de Converse in Madrid, followed around the globe on November 1st for $120. Tell us if you’re intrigued by these classics in the feedback box, and keep traveling to Nice Kicks for everything sneakers.
