New Balance Delivers the 2002R in “White Lagoon”

After teaming up with brands like J. Crew and The Basement, it seems that the New Balance 2002R is in the midst of a revival. Arriving in “White Lagoon,” this is New Balance’s first solo attempt that veers from their traditional neutral color schemes. 

Made with a classic all-white base, the New Balance 2002R “White Lagoon” adds a pop of color with blue and yellow highlights. The toe box and quarters feature a white mesh, while the rest of the sneaker is made with leather overlays. Small hints of blue suede appear on the overlays, lining, and branding on the signature New Balance “N” and 2002R label. Finishing details include a black N-ergy shock absorbing outsole, as well as yellow ABZORB midsole and ABZORB SBS heel cushioning.
