Showing even more love to its Bean Town roots, New Balance pays tribute to an annual tradition with this latest take on the 990. Started in 1965, the Head of the Charles Regatta is a two-day rowing competition held in Boston. To commemorate this year’s running, the 990 sees its upper draped in premium grey suede with electrifying volt accents in tow. Coupled with a speckled midsole, the New Balance 990 “Head of the Charles Regatta” is set to release online today exclusively through Concepts.
