It’s been a year full of ups and downs for New Balance, with many of the downs having nothing to do with their sneaker output. But with much of the dust settling on past comments and out of context affiliations, they’re back to doing with they do best — making great shoes.
Arguably one of their best inline models of the year is this “Magnet” edition of the 997. A sleek black leather coats much of the upper with vibrant contrasts that include royal blue, purple, and red secondary shades. A reptilian texture acutely works select portions of the base while a brown sole punctuates the outer.
