Coco Gauff Keeps It “All In The Family” for Her Latest New Balance Coco CG1

New Balance and tennis star Coco Gauff extend their partnership with the new Coco CG1 “All in the Family.” The release came just in time for the WTA Finals, where Coco was the youngest player in the tournament. At only 18-years-old, she is also the second youngest American player to reach Top 10 ranking and the second youngest player in history to earn WTA World No. 1 Doubles Ranking.

Get ’em like Gauff as the Coco CG1 combines her personal style with torsional stability and modern construction. The sneaker has “Dark Moonstone” and “Electric Red” color blocking complete with “Violent Shadow” highlights. The graphics, logos, and lace jewel detail are all inspired by Coco’s family support. Her siblings’ names are subtly placed throughout the design, as well as other personal motifs related to her upbringing such as basketball & track spike graphics and the coordinates of her childhood court.

As far as performance goes, the sneaker comes fully loaded with FuelCell foam, Fit Weave Lite, a Saddle gore band, an NDure toe guard, and an NDurance rubber outsole. The shoe is equipped with Energy Arc and a sport-specific carbon fiber plate geometry with strategic midsole voids for maximum energy return.
