New Balance has just unveiled the newest signature for WTA #2 Coco Gauff dubbed the Coco CG2.
Taking inspiration from the 550s – one of Gauff’s favorite styles – the pair swaps out the basketball on the woven tongue label for a tennis ball. The newest update features geometric-shaped design, stability and flexibility, a nod to the architecture in Coco’s favorite city, Paris. Suede overlays on the saddle allow for a fashion-forward style transcending beyond sport for wear on and off the court.
“I had as much fun designing and collaborating on the CG2 as I did with the CG1,” says Team New Balance athlete, Coco Gauff. “My relationship with the New Balance team is incredible, and I’m excited to see what people think of the evolution of this shoe!”
