The New Balance KAWHI 2 Gets Inspired by the Art of Palm Reading

The Klaw is back with the revamped New Balance KAWHI 2 “Palmistry.” The latest iteration of this sneaker embodies the art of palm reading as the team uses the sneaker’s handprint-molded midsole as the point of inspiration.

This edition of the New Balance KAWHI 2 has a white upper that’s split by a waved quarter panel made in the likeness of the mounts and valleys found on the palm’s natural topography. The heel has a New Balance branded plate that matches the lace dubrae on the front. The rear ankle collar is also finished in black, with other black details appearing on the eyelets and KAWHI branding on the tongue. The sneaker sits atop the sculptural handprint-molded midsole that wraps onto the edge of the upper. The outsole is embossed with names of different parts of the solar system including the Sun, Moon, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, and Saturn — all of which are guides in the palm reading process.
