New Balance has just unveiled the latest iteration of its franchise basketball shoe, the New Balance TWO WXY v5, offering an innovative blend of technology for players who embrace versatility on the court. responsiveness.

The TWO WXY v5 integrates New Balance’s cutting-edge FuelCell and Fresh Foam technologies. FuelCell, known for its responsive energy return, is paired with Fresh Foam X strategically placed at the heel and ball of the foot to cushion impact during explosive plays. The combination ensures players experience optimal agility and comfort, with protection in high-stress areas. The shoe’s lightweight engineered mesh upper provides breathability, allowing for a comfortable and flexible fit, while the high collar ensures a locked-in, secure feel around the heel.

As a versatile performance shoe, the New Balance TWO WXY v5 is tailored to today’s fast-paced, positionless basketball.

Several New Balance athletes, including Jamal Murray, Dejounte Murray, Aaron Nesmith, and Darius Bazley, will debut the TWO WXY v5 during the upcoming NBA season. The shoe will launch in two colorways: Bullseye and Ultra Pink. Bullseye, featuring a bold red “X” under the laces, pays homage to Jamal Murray’s alter ego, the Blue Arrow. Meanwhile, the Ultra Pink colorway channels vibrant cotton candy hues, reflecting the fun and joy of the game.
