Today, we see something a little different from New Balance with another women’s-exclusive offering of the WP996 UH. A red suede, referred to as “Ruby Wine,” upper covers this colorway with matching laces laid over top. To contrast things, tan is implemented on the ribbon that weaves through the collar of the shoe that is mirrored by the rugged gum outsole. New Balance branding is seen on the outsole, side panels and also embossed in the fine suede on the quarter panel. If you can decipher Japanese or have your favorite translator handy, you’re in luck, because at the moment you can pick these up atmos for ¥10,500 (approximately $100 USD).
