Nike PR Director Heidi Burgett has taken to Twitter to announce Nike’s plans to release a new colorway of the Nike Air Yeezy 2 later this year. While a June release had been unofficially suggested due to the impending launch of West’s new album and his donning of an all-red pair of Yeezy 2s on SNL, Burgett’s tweet below serves as the only official information shared by Nike to this point. Stay tuned to Nice Kicks for further details on the third colorway of the Yeezy 2.
Release date for the new colorway of the Nike Air Yeezy 2 is not June 16th. We’re planning to release it later this year.
