January 1st, 2019 marked the end of the 2018, concluding a year of seemingly innumerable sneaker releases. Collaborations had a strong year, as long-standing signatures were also a mainstay, while leaving room for retros and brand new silhouettes to make their case, and in some cases, all of these factors intertwining for some interesting takes.
So in classic year-end recap fashion, we’ve perused through every release that the past year had to offer, narrowing them down to the top 50, and crowned the top shoe of 2018.
