Growing up I used to love the adidas Superstar. Whether it was the original or the 2G version they were a clean shoe that sneakerheads and non-sneakerheads alike could appreciate. This collaboration is a great example of keeping it classic and not going over the top. You can tell by the pictures that great leather was used and the vintage midsoles give it a real Run DMC feel. Unfortunately the collabiness comes through on this one in the form of limited distribution. If adidas Originals can launch a product like this in the US and make it easily accessible they’ll have a new customer.
