“As a kid, the only cartoon sneakers I rocked were from Strawberry Shortcake back in the first grade. After that, I always looked up to the “big girls” for style guidance. LA Gear and Reebok ruled the playground back then, so the reason I like this shoe has absolutely nothing to do with nostalgia or a deep seeded love for all things Disney. I just think the design is such a dope way to incorporate an iconic pattern with a super saturated blue suede toe box, eyelet strip, and heel strip. Though these are bold, they are still highly wearable, and don’t scream out middle-american mom.”
