10. Nike Air Max LeBron VII “Dunkman”

Nike Air Max LeBron VII "Dunkman" Detailed Images

This early January release truly opened my eyes when I first saw it. I love the use of patent leather and leather in all black that is contrasted with a neon green throughout the upper.

9. Ronnie Fieg x ASICS Gel Lyte III “The Cove”

Ronnie Fieg really nailed this colorway of ASICS Gel Lyte IIIs in “The Cove.” This pair is, in my opinion, the second best ASICS creation of 2010.

8. Ronnie Fieg x ASICS Gel Lyte III “Super Red”

A great colorway that uses great materials and perfect color contrasts, I really was surprised at how well this particular pair turned out. In addition to the grey and red color hits, the suede material was truly a surprise.

7. Nike Air Max 90 “Infrared”

I missed the last release of the Air Max 90 Infrared and was hoping that Nike wouldn’t slack on materials or quality on this version. I was not disappointed as this release was true to its shape and color.

6. Air Jordan 1 KO Red/White/Black

Air Jordan 1 "AJKO" Available for Pre-Order

Everything about this sneaker is spot on. From the canvas upper to the semi-stained midsole, this sneaker is meant to be worn.

5. Air Jordan 6 “Infrared” Pack

One of my favorite silhouettes in one of my favorite colors. This pack was one of my favorite releases of the year because of the simple yet bold color blocking. This pack brought back two colorways that had not been seen in a very long time.

4. Air Jordan 13 White/Red

Overshadowed by the Cool Grey release, the Air Jordan 13s White/Red is probably still sitting on some shelves at your local mall. However make no mistake about it, this is probably one of my favorite releases of the year.

3. Nike Zoom Kobe VI “Christmas”

Kobe may be falling a little short on the court this year in terms of performance but his sneaker has definitely made a strong return. From the all green upper to the red alternate laces, no other sneaker screamed Christmas as this pair did. This is by far one of the loudest sneakers I have seen in my short time as a sneakerhead.

2. Nike Lebron 8 “South Beach”

Dynamic silhouette. Never-before-seen colors. The Lebron 8 has been at the top of my list since I first saw previews of it earlier this year. Since the lebron 7, Nike has definitely stepped up the comfort and recognizable factor of the lebron signature line.

1. Air Jordan 11 Cool Grey

Is there any doubt to this choice? One of the most popular silhouettes in one of MY favorite colors, the re-release of the Air Jordan 11 cool grey proved again that when the fourth quarter rolls around, Jordan Brand is still the king.
