Last week, the “University Blue” Air Jordan 1 was the sneaker on everyone’s radar. Unfortunately, if you were like me, the SNKR Gods did not bless you with a pair of the Tar Heel inspired colorway. Luckily for those in the world of sneakers, there is always a new week of plentiful releases.
Here at Nice Kicks, the team selects our favorite drops occurring this week and writes them in Nice Picks. We’ve sifted through the noise to select the sneakers that are worth spending your hard earned cash. With that said, let’s get right into this week’s top releases.
5. Nike Dunk High “Orange Blaze”
Colorway: White/Orange Blaze
Style #: DD1399-101
Release Date: March 10, 2021
Price: $110
The Nike Dunk High has resurged over the last three months, battling for the spotlight over its low-cut brother. In cases like this Syracuse-inspired pair, this Dunk High deserves recognition for executing upon a simple, but striking colorway. Did I mention that the orange shade used is absolutely stunning? The pair is slated to release in both men’s and women’s sizing, so regardless of your foot size, this is one that should be accessible for all.
4. Nike Cosmic Unity “Green Glow”
Style #: DA6725-001
Release Date: March 12, 2021
Price: $150
The Nike Cosmic Unity debuted several weeks ago, touted as Nike’s latest breakthrough in performance hoops footwear. The performance silhouette has already been worn by Anthony Davis, showcasing its ability to run alongside other footwear choices. Full-length air Strobel certainly helps, ensuring a comfortable yet stable ride on every fast break. The first “Green Glow” colorway is slated for a March 12 release.
3. UNDERCOVER x Nike Overbreak “Black”
Style #: DD1789-001
Release Date: March 11, 2021 (US)
Price: $160
The Nike Overbreak has been the Swoosh’s latest edition to their runner line and has made waves for its unique shape and sole. Thus far, the silhouette has been a personal favorite among recent silhouettes, and this above effort in collaboration with UNDERCOVER makes this “Black” iteration that much better. Above the silver Swoosh, a red rose is seen sprouting into the black mesh upper. Don’t sleep.
2. adidas Yeezy Boost 700 V2 “Cream”
Colorway: Cream / Cream / Cream
Style #: GY7924
Release Date: March 13, 2021
Price: $240
The adidas Yeezy Boost 700 has always been a favorite among the ‘Ye catalog. Finally returning its V2 form, “Cream” tones combine with the grey mesh upper, while the pair sits atop a plush Boost midsole. Clean and versatile, this is sure to be a great purchase for the upcoming spring and summer season.
1. Carpet Company x Nike SB Dunk High
Colorway: White / Dark Sulfur / Coconut Milk / Royal Pulse

If you haven’t yet believed that the Dunk High was making a return, you should now. In collaboration with the Habibis at Carpet Company, the SB iteration returns with a colorful, tearaway upper. Underneath, yellowed soles project vintage vibes. This is one of my favorite Dunk Highs to release this year and should definitely be on your radar come March 12.
