As mentioned before, there are obvious perks when you play on the same team as the Black Mamba. Not only did Young get a chance to exclusively wear four Kobe PEs, but he also was selected by Kobe Bryant himself to officially debut the Nike Kobe 9 Elite against Miami on national television. Young also is credited with debuting three of the eight Prelude Kobes, and surprised everyone by actually wearing the Supreme x Nike Air Foamposite One on court just days after its release. His wear of the reflective Air Jordan 3 “5Lab3” for the first time also garners him big points in the Sneaker Debut department.
