Nike Hybrid sneakers is the latest craze, but this is nothing new. Back in the early 90’s a few sneakers were a step above the other kicks of the day, with ground breaking design and unique style cues. The Air Jordan 7 and the Nike Air Huarache runner, both broke necks. Twenty years ago in 1989 Nike created the ACG division. The combination of these three, came to a creative peak with the Nike ACG Air Mowabb.
The Mowabb name was inspired by the city Moab, Utah, which is known for its outdoor recreation. Moab is the perfect place to put the “All Conditions Gear” to the test. This rugged hybrid is returning from it’s 1991 roots on a come back tour of sorts. One of the original colorways returns as one of the top outdoor training shoes. Look for it at your local Nike retailers, or online at LTD. |
