Nike is bringing back an iconic Foamposite colorway next year as the Nike Air Foamposite One “Galaxy” is returning in February 2025.
The galactical iteration of the Foamposite was first released in Orlando during All-Star Weekend as a nod to both Penny Hardaway and the Kennedy Space Center. The release in 2012 captured sneakerheads with its “Remove Before Flight” tag, glow-in-the-dark outsole, and outer space-themed upper. Its scarcity, out-of-this-world makeup, and storytelling components delivered a grail status-worthy release at the pinnacle of Nike Basketball’s dominance in fashion & culture during the 2010s.
The return of the “Galaxy” Foamposite adds to the silhouette’s current momentum as Penny Hardaway’s Foamposite PE recently made its retail debut with other colorways following.
