Foamposite came back in a big way over the last 12 months, appearing on all sorts of hybrids, updated classics and more, as well as on retros of the Air Foamposite Pro and Air Foamposite One. When word of a 2011 “Electric Green” shoe’s release first broke, most assumed it would look very similar to Nate Robinson’s “Kryptonate” Foamposite Lite from early 2009. As revealed here in our first ever look at this Nike, the color that adorns this shoe is actually much more pale than the aforementioned sneaker. The standard black midfoot and Swoosh and carbon fiber shank are in place, but noticeably absent is Penny Hardaway’s branding on the back of the collar. Finally, a blue-tinted icy outsole sits underneath.
