For decades now, the Air Force 1 has served as a flag for your feet when it comes to showing love for your city, state or even country.

Continuing that trend, the Nike Air Force 1 “Dominican Republic” sees the next region repping release from the Swoosh.

Debuted by Geraldo Rodriguez, the shoe is said to celebrate diversity and inclusion, dropping the standard heel flag in favor of something deeper. Rather, the shoe sports a 3M tongue and heel tab with DR tagging and the phrase “DE LO MÍO” on the outsole to signify “close friend” to finish it all off.

For AF1 aficionados, the pair packs a milky midsole mimicking that of the “Year of the Rabbit” drop from 2011, with red and blue intermingling on both the branding and the laces.

Geraldo states that the Nike Air Force 1 “Dominican Republic” will launch this month on SNKRS. Hypebeast has confirmed that assertion with a November 17th drop date on SNKRS and retail price of $165.
