Nike’s 35th anniversary celebration of the Bruce Kilgore designed Air Force 1 has certainly been one of the bigger and more interesting stories in sneakers this year. Much of this began last year, though, where the shoe was on display in grand fashion at the first annual ComplexCon. That time marker last November brings us to modern-day, where the second annual presentation just ended. Again, the Air Force 1 took centerstage at the festivities.
The upcoming AF100 collection is currently trending among the most desired items in sneakers, along with Virgil Abloh’s “The Ten,” for which an Off-White x Air Force 1 was included in addition to a ComplexCon exclusive. Yet largely the most culturally impactful release from the offering is the Roc-A-Fella” edition – once simply a gem only helmed by members of the record label in its infancy stages.
On November 30, the Nike Air Force 1 Low “Roc-A-Fella” will be available in large, produced in a traditional white-on-white palette with the Roc logo stamping the shoes tongue and heel. Grab an official look at the style below and let us know if you plan to cop this piece of hip hop and sneaker history at month’s end.
Be sure to also check out our unboxing of the ROC 1s here.
