When the 35th anniversary of the Nike Air Force 1 comes to a close at the end of 2017, don’t expect pairs of the time-honored Bruce Kilgore design to slow. The resurgence of the shoe that began late last year will continue into 2018.
Pairs like this “Split” edition both reference iterations from the past while equally exploring contemporary styling of modern-day. Back in 2006, the AF1 “Scarface” took on a similar aesthetic where half of the shoe was white and the other half black with red laces at the center. The Nike Air Force 1 Low “Split” isn’t exactly symmetrical in its “split,” but certainly resembles the aforementioned pair released over a decade ago.
No release details for this upcoming Air Force 1 are readily available. Stay tuned for more.
