The Nike Air Force 1 Mid React Debuts This Year

The Nike Air Force 1 silhouette celebrates its 40th anniversary this year. To keep the festivities going, Nike has introduced fans to the latest iteration of the iconic mid-top.

This mid-top variant dons non-standard textiles and fuse materials on the silhouette’s upper. Similarly, the pair opts for black leather on the toes and toe boxes for a more familiar look. The lace straps that are typically wrapped around the tongue are relocated to the heel, accompanied by a pull tab. Elsewhere, the rendition features neon accents on the mid-section with an off-white backdrop toning down the intensity. In place of standard materials on the underfoot, the offering uses React cushioning for added comfort. Concluding the pair are semi-translucent and white rubber outsoles.
