Summer is in full swing and that means baseball for a lot of sports fans. Nike is bringing a Dodgers-esque colorway to Ken Griffey Jr.’s first signature sneaker, the Nike Air Griffey Max 1 that’s set to drop later this year.
The sneaker uses a white leather base with royal blue nubuck overlays on the mudguard, heel, and ankle strap. The Swoosh is seen in royal blue as well with a red outline, with more red accenting seen on the lace loops and Swoosh on the heel. Griffey’s 24 is seen on the strap in white with a white and royal blue midsole on the Air Max units in the forefoot and heel and a royal blue outsole finishing off the sneaker.
The Nike Air Griffey Max 1 is set to drop on June 24, 2022, via Nike.com and at select retailers for $170. Check out the official photos below and for all the latest drop dates, head over to our Sneaker Release Dates page.
