Ken Griffey, Jr.’s sneaker line owns a special spot in the heart of almost every sneakerhead. The Kid’s Nikes still break necks of passers by and even non-OG colorways get scooped up as soon as they drop. Set to release in early 2011, this colorway of the classic Air Griffey Max 1 immediately became a favorite of many readers at our first look. Matte Sport Red and white come together on the upper, while a black strap and forefoot Swoosh highlight matching accents throughout. The Max Air bubbles on the sole are Metallic Silver, adding a fourth color to this Cincinnati Reds color-up.
