This year, the Nike Air Huarache celebrates its 30th Anniversary. To properly celebrate the 30th Anniversary, Nike is re-releasing the iconic silhouette in its OG “Deep Magenta” colorway. Tinker Hatfield designed and sold the first 5,000 pairs to marathon runners back in ’91. However, the colorway became an instant classic when His Airness wore them during a victory parade after defeating the Portland Trailblazers in the 1992 NBA Finals.
Returning in an all-white mesh upper with leather and plastic two-toned overlays. Hues of aqua traverse from the tongue to the ankles, followed by magenta on the mid-panel and heel. Magenta reappears on the inner linings and inserts complete with, a white and black sole unit.
However, release details are hazy at the moment but, expect the pair to release at Nike and select retailers for $120. Before you jet, hit up our sneaker release page for more information on upcoming releases. Stay tuned for more here at Nice Kicks.
