For those who missed out the first time around, Nike’s Air Kukini is set to return later this year in a new topography-inspired outfit.
Designed by Sean McDowell, who also designed the Air Max Plus, the Nike Air Kukini originally debuted in the 2000s. The silhouette is inspired by ski racer Picabo Street and features all kinds of design elements such as the transparent TPU cage on the exterior. Here this pair is dressed in a topographic pattern on a blue neoprene base. Further accenting the pair are white leather overlays, mini Swooshes on the tongues, and a two-tone outsole.
This Nike Air Kukini SE “Summit White and Aviator Grey” is scheduled to drop on September 20th via SNKRS and at select retailers for $140. Check out the photos below and keep it locked to our Sneaker Release Dates Calendar for updates.
