Following a wait that spanned a full year, Sean Wotherspoon’s widely adored Nike Air Max 1/97 SW finally hits select stores next week.
The voter-approved Swoosh design has accomplished a lot ahead of a proper release. For starters, they have championed the newly popular corduroy trend. In addition to that, the hybrid style continues to push Nike in the direction of sole swapping which, recently, has worked out more often than it hasn’t.
Wotherspoon’s Nike Air Max 1/97 SW release will be limited to a large degree. The shoe will be available on Air Max Day, March 26, at select retailers like Sneaker Politics via a raffle that takes place on March 24. The Sneaker Politics release will be in-store only.
