Where To Buy Nike Air Max 1 “Crepe Hemp”

It seems like we already have so much to look forward to this year as a growing list of classic sneakers are set to re-release. Alongside the return of the Nike Air Max 97 “Atlantic Blue” and the Nike Air Max 97 “Metallic Silver,” comes the Nike Air Max 1 “Crepe Hemp.” Originally released in 2004, the colorway proved to be an instant classic.

The Nike Air Max 1 celebrates its 35th anniversary in 2022, so it only makes sense that Nike would pull out the best of the best from their archives. The upper on the original sneaker used a unique burlap material, but based off the first look photos, it appears that the toebox material has been changed for the upcoming retro. It’s slightly less burlap and more of a wicker-like material. The extended mudguard that wraps around the sneaker is finished in smooth tan suede, allowing for the “Hemp” theme to come to life. The Nike Swoosh adds the perfect pop of color with a touch of mint green. To finish, the sneaker upper sits atop an off-white crepe sole.
