In celebration of the Air Max 1’s 30th anniversary, Nike is following up their efforts on Air Max Day back in March with a retro release of the OG “Obsidian” colorway.
Of course trailing anniversary releases of the red and royal pairs, the Nike Air Max 1 “Obsidian” is unique in that the silhouette was produced in 1987 but this colorway didn’t release until 1988. The shoe will be updated with new materials and released in a nostalgic grey and orange box that tracks back to the brand’s elder packaging.
Release details for the Nike Air Max 1 “Obsidian” have not yet been detailed. Yet given its original release date, a drop sometime early 2018 is assumed. Stay tuned for more.
