This past June the long-anticipated Nike Air Max 90/1 finally hit retailers. Initially conceptualized back in 1992, with an Air Max 1 upper and Air Max 90 midsole tooling, the silhouette’s “University Red” colorway bridged the gap between the design back in ’92 and modern-day sole-swapping culture.
As we fall further into the depths of summer it appears that OG colorway won’t be the only retail release for the celebrated hybrid. A purple suede edition surfaced today with black branding over smooth Sail midsole construction. It’s unclear at the moment exactly when this Nike Air Max 90/1 Suede “Court Purple” will release. Stay tuned to Nice Kicks for more.
