If you were to ask Air Max heads if there was anything wrong with the Air Max 90, I doubt you would hear many gripes – especially if you asked them about the Infrared colorway. Though many would be content for another 2 decades with the Air Max 90, Nike has decided to retread the shoe and update the performance of the shoe by releasing the Nike Air Max 90 Current. The main differences (and most noticeable) are a Presto style mesh upper that fits like a sock and a Nike Free flexible outsole. The shoe accomplishes two things that lacked in the original – more breathable and more flexible. The only thing that is missing is a can of shoe cleaner…white mesh and the outside world never mix. The Nike Air Max 90 Current is available at select doors now including Proper in Long Beach with a shelf price of $125. |
