As temperatures drop, people prepare to winterize. Nike uses a similar approach with the Air Max 90 Ultra Winter SE. A once classic runner transforms into a modern sneaker boot with a “Velvet Brown” palette.
Nike went in and gutted the interior, cutting out the tongue and outfitting the shell with a mid-rise bootie. The upper goes untouched while inheriting the looks of its low top counterpart. Matte style leather covers the overlays while mixing in with the chocolate midsole. Olive green climbs up on the sock extension while also appearing on the Swoosh. Honey mustard accents line the labels, Nike Air branding and resembles a gum bottom along the outsole.
