The Festive Nike Air Max 90 “Valentine’s Day” Now Arrives In March

Although Thanksgiving and Christmas have yet to be celebrated, Nike is already looking ahead to Valentine’s Day with a pair of festive Air Max 90s.

Set to release in February 2021, the Nike Air Max 90 “Love Letter” sports a fitting “University Red,” white, and “Tulip Pink” outfit; colors synonymous with the unofficial holiday that celebrates love. This AM90 features a predominately white leather upper that constructs the toe, ankle collar, mudguard, and midsole, which is then elevated with pink suede overlays and contrasting accents throughout. Elsewhere “University Red” covers the Swoosh insignias, upper eyelets with cut-out heart logos, heels, and rubber outsole, while final details include the hidden love letters on the tongue tabs, which reads “ME+AM90=TRUE LOVE,” and the mismatched outsoles.

UPDATE: Interested readers will be able to pick up the Nike Air Max 90 “Love Letter” on March 16, 2021. I guess you’ll have to keep them DS until Valentine’s Day 2022. The pair will retail for $140.
