Continuing to build upon its impressive lineup of Air Max silhouettes, Nike returns to its coveted Air Max 95 model, this time paying homage to the country of South Korea.
Like usual, the shoe’s wave-constructed upper features a range of various color tones while this specific example flaunts vibrant “Racer Pink,” “Royal Tint,” and black tiger stripes. The colorful pattern then continues onto the midsection of the tongue tab and is also spotlighted on the outsole. Matching mini Swoosh embellishments are found on the lateral heel, while signature Air Unit and Air Max branding are spotlighted on the tongue tab and back heel. Elsewhere, the sock liners sport “KOREA” text and a tiger graphic, (the same logo found on their football kits), which plays as an additional nod to the Asian destination. Lastly a stark white midsole houses a black translucent Air unit, while black mesh dresses the throat and toebox of these AM95s.
The Nike Air Max 95 CTRY “Korea” will retail for $180 USD and is expected to release soon at Nike retailers and nike.com. For more Air Maxes, the Travis Scott x Nike Air Max 270 release date is being pushed back.
