Nike‘s dropping heat once again with the Air Max 95 “Sequoia”, and trust us, this isn’t your average nature-inspired colorway. This latest iteration of Sergio Lozano’s iconic design is serving up some serious forest vibes.

Since being introduced onto the scene in 1995, the Air Max 95 immediately flipped the script on sneaker design. Inspired by the human body, Lozano crafted a silhouette that was equal parts provocative and functional. The gradient upper? That’s your muscles and flesh. The lace loops? Ribs. And that midsole with the visible Air units? Vertebrae.

Now in 2024, the AM95 is still making a cultural impact. This “Sequoia” colorway is a masterclass in tonal execution. The upper gradient flows from various forest greens creating depth that’ll have people doing double-takes. The mini Swoosh and Air Max branding pop in a contrasting white, while the black midsole grounds the whole design.

But it’s not just about looks. The Air Max 95 was a game-changer with its forefoot Air unit – a first for Nike at the time. Coupled with the heel Air unit, this sneaker delivers comfort that’s still unmatched nearly three decades later.

Look for the Nike Air Max 95 “Sequoia” to be released in 2024 via Nike.com and select retailers for $185.  Keep it locked to Nice Kicks on Instagram and the sneaker release dates to stay on top of the latest news and drops.
