Winding down a hallmark year that has seen both general releases and collaborations tower above much else in sneaker culture, the 20th anniversary Nike Air Max 97 is approaching its final curtain call. Its last act of 2017? Quite likely a “Country Camo” pack poised to dominate the release calendar as December comes to an end.
The USA edition of the offering is seen in official capacity today. Marked by a tiger camouflage upper hovering above a blacked out midsole with Visible Air seeping through, this model was first seen on Cleveland Cavaliers point guard Isaiah Thomas and is reported to make its retail debut on December 20. Nike has not yet confirmed these rumors but we do expect the shoe to release before the end of the year.
Take a closer look at the Nike Air Max 97 “Country Camo USA” below and stay tuned to Nice Kicks for more details as they emerge. Also be sure to take a look at the Air VaporMax 97 hybrid slated to release next year.
