Even though the crazy 20th anniversary of the Air Max 97 is at an end, Nike is still pumping out pairs of the celebrated full-length Air model. 2017 was bursting with OG releases that both start and end with the coveted “Silver Bullet” edition.
Offered in both traditional form and the extremely rare Italian update, its medal stand counterpart in “Gold” is now being updated with that same white, green and red palette. An ode to the European region that kept the shoe afloat after its flame had long died out in the States, this Nike Air Max 97 “Gold” Italy is set to release on January 18 at select European retailers.
