Nike Readies a Spicy “Picante Red” Air Max 97

Although the model is now reaching its 26^th anniversary, Nike continues to roll out new colorways of Christian Tresser’s Air Max 97 brainchild.

For the upcoming season, the beloved model will be receiving a spicy “Picante Red” outfit. This upcoming Nike Air Max 97 “Picante Red” colorway sports a white mesh build with leather overlays dipped in “Picante Red” and “Guava Ice”. The titular hue follows onto the tongues, insoles, and heel branding, while white continues onto the mesh tongues, laces, inner liner, and midsole to help anchor the silhouette’s overall design. Lastly, the pair is elevated with 3M reflective details and a full-length “Picante Red” Air cushioning system.
