Nike Debuts Heavy-Duty Rubber On The Air Max 97

The iconic Air Max 97 is celebrating its 25th Anniversary this year. To celebrate Christian Tresser’s legendary design, the creatives at Nike are releasing new renditions with new materials. Expect offerings to release later this month as the sneaker community anticipates the arrival of Air Max Day.

This latest offering comes layered in a mix of black and anthracite hues combined with mesh and heavy-duty rubberized overlays. Like its counterparts, the silhouette features Nike branding on the sides and tongues. Concluding the pair is a white and Grind Rubber sole unit.
